I don't think the first 10 weeks are any less important than the last two. They're 11-1, and they did what no one else - including Oklahoma - has done: beat Texas.

Jake, I think his point is that they played a really easy OOC schedule. East Washington, SMU, UMass are in there. I think that is fair, but I get your point, too. TT played a top 20 SOS across the board this year and they got it done, except for Oklahoma.

I think they live and die by the quarterback but they are the real deal.

TTech could have done most college f'ball fans a favor by losing this game. It would have made things much clearer in the B12 and BCS.

Now we will have some moron like Skip Bayless campaigning for playoffs to determine conference champs, then more playoffs for NC.

Suddenly the divided super-conference structure doesn't look so good, either.
