14noh, timing is huge. Attitude is even bigger, losing colt is a huge punch to the gut.

When Garrett makes bad throws, it gets under your skin as a wr. Why can't the frosh do his job? Where is my qb?

Losing colt completely changed the game for the wrs, as well as the space for the rbs.

i understand why you say that. however, would colt have told mac not to call that time out? doubtful. to say that if colt threw the ball into the EZ it would have been caught is a coin toss at best. at this point in the game (halftime on), there is no difference. the only period in question is the 2nd qtr and that wasn't the QB's fault.

Alabama already shut it down. Like NateG said earlier, once you've shut it down, it's hard to bring back up. They can't guard Shipley slants. 260 lb linebackers can't track him in space.
