Texans at Bengals(-2.5)

must win game imo, can't have a record worse than 10-6 to have a chance at playoffs...

10-6 maybe gets in, 11-5 seals it
Yes, Bengals are in the 6th seed now, so if they win out and go 11-5 they are definitely in the playoffs, but it is pretty much impossible for them to improve on being the 6th seed, no matter what.

The problem with 10-6 is the Jets. The Jets have an easy schedule left. KC, @Phi, NYG, @Mia

If the Jets go 3-1 in those games, with one of the losses coming to an NFC team, then the 10-6 Jets would get in over the 10-6 Bengals.

If the Bengals go 9-7, then at least one of the Titans, Jets, Raiders or Broncos will likely also be at 9-7 and win the tiebreaker.

This week the Bengals obviously need a win, but equally as important would be a Kansas City upset over the Jets.

If the Bengals win and the Jets lose this week, then the Bengals will just need to go 2-1 in the last three, and they are in.

If the Bengals lose and the Jets lose this week, then the Bengals will still be in if they can win their last three, so their fate would still be in their own hands.

If the Bengals win and the Jets win, then the Bengals will need to either win out, or go 2-1 and hope that the Jets lose to the Dolphins.

If the Bengals lose and the Jets win, then the Bengals are in big trouble, and need a miracle, winning out and the Jets losing the the Dolphins.

I'd be shocked if it's anybody but the Jets or Bengals in that 6th spot. But unless the Bengals fold, it's likely going to come down to week 17, and so, at the very least, the Bengals will be playing an important football game in week 17. And the Ravens may very well have the 1 seed locked up, and if that's the case we may see a much different Ravens squad.

It's just ridiculous the way the Bengals played defense not only on the final drive, but throughout the entire game. The middle was left wide open throughout the game; no adjustments were made and it ended up costing us on the final play.

We now need the Jets to really falter and the Ravens to play their scrubs on the last weekend, all while managing not to get upset by St. Louis and Arizona... it's over.

Fuck the Bengals and the 20 years of bullshit they have put me and southwest Ohio through. I wish they would have put up shit stain performances like this in the first half of the season like usual, so I wouldn't wasted the last five Sundays watching this abortion. Fuck this, seriously, I don't even care if we make it to the playoffs. Lose the last 3 and get better draft picks.

I'm going to root for one team from now on...my fantasy team. Ok, had to get that vent off my chest that has been building up for 20 plus year before it turned into a heart attack.

Come to Tebus, RB. There's plenty of room on the Bronco bandwagon.

 :p

the good: Nuge, AJ Green, D-line

the bad: everyone else...just a pathetic display from the secondary, Reggie Nelson is a bum, after the fumble another guy about to scoop it up and Nelson comes running in like a bull dives toward the ball and knocks it away, fuck this defense
