Tennessee tackle suspected in campus assault
From wire reports
Tennessee defensive tackle Tony McDaniel, who got his first career start Jan. 1 in the Cotton Bowl, was suspended indefinitely from the team after he was named a suspect in an assault on campus, coach Phillip Fulmer announced Tuesday.
According to a campus police report, McDaniel is a suspect in an assault Jan. 12 that left another student injured. University police said Tuesday that an officer responded to a call at a gym, where the injured student was playing basketball. He had a cut on his cheek and swelling around his jaw.

"Unfortunately, Tony made a poor decision," Fulmer said in a statement.

Yet not ONE mention of it at ESPiN... If this were a Buckeye, it'd be front page news.
The Vols just aren't trying hard enough.

Faking dope tests in December, vicious assaults in January. I'm smelling recruiting violations and street agents for Valentine's day...
Despite which, The Smoky Mountains Crime of the Month Club just doesn't get national respect because it is as nothing compared to:

the

CORRUPTION AT OHIO STATE.
