Definitely not far-fetched. Duke "should've" lost on their home court against Sparty

Yeah, one guy brought up Sparty. They said they'd be more afraid of Sparty than us come tourney time.

I really believe the way MSU looks right now, they will get housed in Columbus. The inside-outside we can go with right now will be way too strong for them. They'll get it together I really believe but they look soft on the inside.

Outstanding effort tonight fellas 100-40!
Contributions everywhere tonight.

I saw Duke against St. Louis and Majerus...they have lots of size and of course Smith and Irving are like lightning...they would deservedly be favored against the Bucks at home or at a neutral site...just comes down to how poised the Buckeyes would play.

This Buckeye team is airtight throughout the whole roster, but we haven't seen them challenged yet. With the skill that this team has, a couple of losses in the Big Ten would really help them figure it all out, but I'm not even sure that's going to happen! Purdue and Michigan State should get them one time, that's about it....

Sparty doesn't impress me at all

Craft 7 ast

100 points and Diebler did next to nothing. Thats why I think this team is destined this year to do it. I dont want to jinx it but when they are all healthy, I dont see a weakness on this team.

i see two weaknesses, which we have yet to see realized. the first is the thin frontcourt. minnesota, specifically, can throw waves of big men at sully. our team can compensate for sully's absence, but there will nonetheless be a struggle. the second is an opponent whose post players can shoot from the perimeter. such teams will be looking to pull lauderdale away from the basket, which exposes sully to interior fouls.

I'm not sure our frontcourt is as thin as all that. Thomas, Lauderdale, Sully and Lighty are all capable of playing big, and Buford and Lenzelle Smith are very capable rebounders. I understand your point, but I'm nowhere near so concerned as you are.

I honestly would not be very surprised to see this team go unbeaten in the regular season - though I wouldn't see that as particularly a positive thing. I think losing a couple would probably be beneficial as we enter the Big Dance.

Agree completely. The Minnesota game will be a good one. I am also interested to see how we play Sully/Dallas vs. JJ from Purdue. Either way it is a good problem to have. It would be great if JD learned from Lighty and became a defensive standout.

Even with this game aside, I have never had so much fun watching OSU basketball. I never thought I would say this, but I like watching them far more than I enjoyed watching the football team this year. Blasphemy, I know. We just bring it every game and you can tell that on top of the boatloads of talent we have, these guys just love playing together.
