11.5 is the point spread for the game, not the over/under for the number of defenders that Dooley has on the field as time runs out.

Have to figure this game will come down to defense, and Tennessee's vaunted 7-3-3 will be hard to get past.

Last time Tennessee (2-3) and Georgia (1-4) played a game while both had losing records: 1906.

Tony Gerdeman's weekly "Tip Sheet" usually has some pretty funny stuff. I thought his preview of the Tenn/UGA game was worth sharing. (I suspect Gatorubet will appreciate the humor.)

We're cheering for Georgia because Tennessee coach Derek Dooley should be punished all season long for having 13 players on defense last week in the game's deciding play against LSU. Really there's no need for me to talk about the whole Vince Dooley/Derek Dooley/Georgia connection, because we don't care. If I wanted to talk about some dinosaur 20 years past the end of his prime, I'd go ahead and put a Joe Paterno joke in here. Rest assured, this game has no purpose, no meaning, no reason. They may not even decide to come out after halftime. The coaches will all look at each other, shrug, and say, "Really guys, what are we even doing out here? This is embarrassing. I think people might be watching us."
