That's right, blame KMFDM, it has absolutely nothing to do with heroin junkies passing around needles and the rave scene.

Exactly what I was thinking. The club scene features (promotes?) high-risk behavior while serenading the folks with some soothing techno.

The sad part is that some parents will see this article and either a) forbid their children to listen to techno lest they get AIDS, or b) believe their children already have AIDS because they listen to techno.

who says it's needles. The love drug XTC is to blame and the butt pirates sleeping with whoever with no protection.

Well at least the scientists aren't complete morons . . . although the reporter must be if they had to explain this to him:

"The study did not imply listening to certain types of music causes HIV infection but simply found links between genres and risk factors."

They should have also reported the finding that men who listed Liberace as their favorite pop artist has the highest AIDS rate of all.

Well, in order to enjoy KMFDM, apparently you need to be junked, which in turn causes reckless sex with nasty people, which in turn causes AIDS. So the causal connection seems to be there.

I have been to Rave partis and if anybody don't get laid there they must be gay Americans. The smart ones wear condoms and XTC makes all of them F**k like they are in a 4 hour Pornos. XTC aka The Love Drug also when they get tired of that piece they switch partners.
