Team USA (Official Thread)

They played pretty well today, if they can fix the outside shooting they'd be great. Some of the plays they did was unbelievable. The one Lebron alley oop while he was getting fouled was awesome. I wish I could find a video of it

My favorite play had to be LeBron's monster mash of a block when he went up and pinned the ball against the backboard like a foot higher than the rim, and then brought it down and stated the break that led to a Wade dunk.

LeBron James, USA Olympic men's basketball team already proving to be versatile, unselfish

Monday, August 11, 2008 Bud Shaw
Plain Dealer Columnist

The "LeBronze" James slam heard after the 2004 Olympics was about as fair as blaming the passengers for what befell the Titanic.
Not only did that USA basketball team convene for about 20 days of practice and pay the price for its hubris, James got off Larry Brown's bench for what seemed like 20 minutes.
As Sunday's Olympics debut of the Redeem Team showed, if James takes a lengthy seat next to Mike Krzyzewski, it means the USA is up by 30 in the second half.
