Fans continue to wonder about the use of tight end Marcel Frost - or lack thereof. The junior flashed potential with two catches for 47 yards and a touchdown against Southern and three receptions for 92 yards against Grambling State. But Frost has only caught one more pass outside of those two games this season.
"We try to get him involved ... but he's been double-teamed a lot," JSU offensive coordinator James Woody said. "They're kind of overloading the side that Frost is on. So we try to mix it up more and play-action a little more to try to get him the ball.
"One time we came down off a play-action and he had three men on him. We went to the backside and the (other) tight end was wide open for the touchdown."
