TE Jake Stoneburner (Official Thread)

I think it would be great to just get one of those guys this weekend. It all starts with 1, and i firmly believe that once the ball starts rolling it will pick up speed...... yes i know we have 1 verbal already, but even though he looks to be a fantastic kicker, it doesn't look like he will pull in the other recruits like say a Mike Adams will.

Oh and HI, or is that " Oh and Hi and Oh" hmmm, sorry just thought that when i red what i wrote. But new poster here, have been reading the forums for years but just decided to toss a few posts in.

This guy has to be considered the consensus top TE in the state now, just going by offerlist.

You don't get March offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida, and USC unless you're REALLY good.

I hope this guy is all buckeye...

The State? find me a TE anywhere in the country that currently has an offer list like that.

Rudolph is a better overall Tight End at this point, but Stoneburner has the most long-term potential of any of them. To be his size and legitimately be able to move like he does is incredible!

I know many of you like Stoney at WR, but as athletic as he is at his size, it's likely that he will simply out-grow the position, much like Fred Davis did at USC. But he could still be an amazing weapon as a flex TE, and being able to split out a WR from time to time.

I'd still like to take another TE, maybe DiLillo, who is more of a "pure" tight end...
