TE Coach Keenan Bailey (Official Thread)

First time I have listened to Bailey, pretty impressive guy. He's going to have quite the group with Stover, Scott, Royer, Hart and Thurman to work with. I know we always are super skeptical on TE usage in the pass game, but after last year I think there was a legitimate and concerted effort to use our TEs. With all of them back and a new QB, I would imagine that will not change.

OHIO STATE TIGHT ENDS COACH KEENAN BAILEY REPORTEDLY ONE OF THREE FINALISTS FOR EAST CAROLINA OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR POSITION

Keenan Bailey has emerged as a potential candidate for the offensive coordinator vacancy at East Carolina.

According to a report from Brad Crawford of 247Sports, Bailey interviewed with Pirates head coach Mike Houston this week and is considered one of three finalists to become the program's offensive coordinator, a position left vacant after Houston and East Carolina moved on from Donnie Kirkpatrick on Nov. 25.

Bailey arrived at Ohio State in 2016 and spent his first seven years in the program as an offensive intern (2016-18), quality control coach (2019-21) and special assistant to Ryan Day (2022). This past offseason, Day promoted Bailey to tight ends coach – his first full-time coaching position – after Kevin Wilson accepted a head coaching position at Tulsa.

ECU ended up hiring someone from Ole Miss
Glad he is sticking around, although I am sure he wants to take on more responsibility. Hopefully he can do that here in some form.

I usually get nervous when other programs want to hire our staffers, however, that is a sign we have solid people who are in demand.
