Hounshell had a "great" visit to OSU with his family today... The coaches asked him for a highlight tape so he could be evaluated for a possible offer... Most interest has been for DE but the Bucks see him at DT which is fine with him... Besides his offers, he's also hearing from Michigan St, _ichigan, Penn State, & BC... His brother is on scholarship at Central Florida so they're high on his list... Hopes to commit before the season starts...

Hounshell literally used the word "love" or "loved" 10 times when describing his feelings about Vandys campus, coaches, etc... He has a good feeling about getting an OSU offer after his visit yesterday... Names a top 5 of Vandy, UCF, OSU, Purdue, & MSU... Wants to commit before the season... He reports these measurables: 4.8 forty, 4.2 shuttle, & a 33 inch vertical...

Hounshell is hoping for an OSU offer & will camp in June if they haven't offered by then... Started at OT & DT for his HS team last year... He has upcoming visits planned for Notre Dame, Pitt, LSU, Michigan St, & he's considering visit requests from BC & WVU...

Chase Hounshell and his family recently visited the University of Florida and have decided they have seen enough. The 6-6, 265-pound offensive lineman checks in from Mentor (OH) Lake Catholic. Hounshell becomes the 13th prospect in the class of 2011 to make a verbal pledge to the Gators and head coach Urban Meyer.
