Seriously...

Duke's defense would look good against their opponents.

Seriously - have you looked at their SCHEDULE?
My drive to WORK is tougher than their schedule...

let's see...I'll grab a few here and there...

a (less-than, to me) mediocre 4-4 Oregon State team, only by 30-21
Ooh! A tough one - 4-6 Tennessee Tech, 62-7. Yep. Tough team...
7-3 Baylor - I think they're just the best-of-the-worst B12..
Oh, another challenge, 5-5 SMU
Then perennial superpower Colorado State 27-0
Then 2-8 Wyoming, and 4-5 BYU
6-4 AFA, 1-8 UNLV

That's enough - that shit is ridiculous.

Last 2 games are San Diego State, and 1-8 New Mexico.

You fugging KIDDING ME? scUM's defense would like like the steel curtain against that list of chumps.

Shit is all relative...

They're pretty good, but not THAT good.
Judged relative to their schedule, they look like a freaking superpower.

ANY team would.

Put 'em up against a Nebraska, OSU, Auburn, and they haven't a chance.
Oregon? Maybe - D is suspect there... Their marquee win is Stanford. I'm still not sold on the Ducks, either.
But an in-your-face team like some perennial B10/B12/SEC teams?

Um, no.

Utah was a joke - THEIR schedule is even softer than TCU's.
That was Humpty Dumpty waiting to get his ass knocked off the wall.

Oregon- decent team, suspect defense

Auburn- gave up 24 to a D2 school. Give me a break, they are a one trick pony who will be destroyed by Bama

Nebraska- who barely beat ISU? I hate the trasative property, but it works wonders for this example... Utah beat ISU by 40, Nebraska beat ISU by 1, do the math. TCU > Baylor > Texas > Nebraska

There is no reason to say that TCU is not deserving. Does not mean that I am wrong or right, it just means that you would be an absolute moron to assume they would not belong

They are NOT deserving - they haven't beaten anyone worth their weight in Nigeria Scam Money Orders.

That redneckmath shit doesn't work, either.
By YOUR math, Miami>Utah>Pitt, seeing as Utah beat Pitt by 3 in OT, and Miami OBLITERATED Pitt 31-3.

Yep.
Shit don't work.

Also, according to your math, I guess Iowa will EASILY handle OSU, since Iowa>Sparty>Wiscy>OSU

Even crappy 5-5 SMU put up nearly 400 yards on TCU, 190 on the ground...
And THAT is a normally-pass-happy June Jones offfense!
Half their opponents are .500 or below, with 3 being WAY below...

I'm gonna say it again...
Just because you can rip through a JV schedule, doesn't make you a "Big Dog." You gonna sit there and tell us all that TCU can Handle OSU? Or Wiscy? Bama?

Please.

They'd pound the ball so far up TCU's tailpipe, they'd shit leather for a month.

1/4 of their schedule is 1-8 UNLV, 3-7 Colorado State, 2-8 Wyoming and I'm supposed to see how awesome they are? Bow down to the new kings of CFB?

Guess we'll find out in a couple of months.

'Bama, LSU, OSU, Wiscy - they'd ALL rip TCU a new ass

If they, by some stroke of luck, beat a REAL team, I'll be more than happy to give props, and buy some beer to wash down the crow. Highly doubt it, though.

Last year, everyone said the same shit.
Lost to Boise - Who I STILL don't think can hang with the upper echelon of CFB, last year OR this year. BSU got lucky, caught VT snoozing in the beginning of the season. Unless your math says James Madison is a REALLY good team...

Early 2010 VT is NOT the same VT as now.
