TRICK-OR-TREAT-150x150.png

No real reason to have a slights this week so I though it would be fun to see what everyone’s trick or treat has been so far in this college football season. The premise is simple, give us what they thought they were tricked by and what they have been treated or pleasantly surprised with. Hope everyone has a great week off from Buckeye football and gets all the candy their heart desires!

MDotySr

Trick – Showing the nation how to run a proper read option with the proper personnel.

Treat – Watching this offense evolve into a complete unit. Big tests ahead but with Urban at the helm it will be a treat.
Ken

Trick – OSU staff taking so long to figure out how to put an offense together when most of the key components were in place from last year.

Treat – They appear to have this figured out before Halloween! Also, too; the play of the Defense

Scott

Trick – that ohio state would be ok with Cardale jones at QB without a true deep threat. He thrived on that last year and it’s obviously been a struggle.

Treat – not having to deal with Mark May as much.

JC

Trick – That JT’s rant – reference arm strength won’t pan out to be a jinx. That it will not play into the nonsense that the “haters” want it to be – trouble in Buckeye-land.

Treat – Play here on to win. Power down. And show the world why The Buckeyes were picked unanimously to be a repeat for the CFP’s.

Brandon

Trick – The first quarter of every game. Ohio State has only scored 45 points in the first quarter this year for a pathetic average of five points a game. If you take away the 14 point first against Virginia Tech, they have only averaged four points in the first quarter each game. This is a far cry from last years squad who always seemed to jump out quick and let off the gas pedal.

Treat – I’m sure it is not always that way behind the scenes but it has been a treat to see J.T. and Cardale remain supportive of each other throughout this whole process. At no time have either player publically complained about being the back-up.

Michael

Trick – The very slow start to the season. Only beating NIU by 7, struggling with teams we should have beaten by 3 TDs or more. It was so frustrating to watch.

Treat – Zeke Elliot continues to be my favorite Buckeye. He just goes out and puts up all those yards every week. 13 straight games with 100 yards or more. I wish we could keep him forever.

WVa

Trick – I was honestly completely wrong about Cardale Jones. I hoped things would work out for him because of what he did for that team last season and for a buckeye nation. Still think he’ll be an NFL quarterback but I may get tricked about that too.

Treat – the best part of the season and the pleasant surprise for me has been the young players that have stepped up on defense. Particularly Gareon Conley. I have to admit I have a fan crush on him and he’s pleasant to watch play!
