I almost always get the three of these fed to me like a lobbed ball in slow pitch, and this week was no different even though I struggled a little bit with the ugly. Let’s get rolling with the good that may be around every week this season.

Everybody and their brother, heck, even their sisters and second cousins, wondered what Braxton Miller would look like at the H-back position.

I myself hypothesized that they wouldn’t be able to get him as many touches as he would need to work his magic in every game. Eight touches and two touchdowns. Every four times he touches the ball he scored.

Braxton just before the spin, and just before Zeke ruins some poor players day

If he keeps that up, carry the two, subtract nothing, and you have an amazing season from the H-back position with Braxton Miller. Not to mention the fact he hasn’t returned a punt yet and we could see that this Saturday!

The reason we are all happy Braxton moved became crystal clear on the play that got everybody’s attention globally is that he will do it more often than we think he will. A 4 to 1 touch to TD ratio may be light!

I very much look forward to seeing what #1 does this weekend and how many highlights he produces. Against a pretty good defense he looked superhuman, think what he will be like against the next several opponents. I am calling it now #BraxtonForHeisman

If there’s one thing we learned about a Cardale Jones run offense during the playoff run, it’s we can survive turn-overs with him at the helm. The thing I said is can, doesn’t mean they will.

Stiff arm was fierce, Buckeyes have to cut down on turn-overs while CJ is the starter

The turnovers, even one from Zeke Elliott, cannot continue because the Buckeyes play a couple teams that ultimately could make the pay dearly for them.

You have to believe that Coach Meyer and the staff stressed even more of taking care of the football. Granted, Cardale’s pass was tipped and the defender made a pretty good diving catch, but those things can haunt a team.

It’s my belief that turn-overs will happen from time to time, but their ratio of them in the last three games is scary. Here’s hoping they right the ship soon.

Jack Willoughby has the potential to be a great kicker for the Buckeyes, he missed his first try though

It’s not often that you will talk about a Coach Meyer run special teams needing work but here goes. That was probably as bad a day they have had since he has been in Columbus.

We got a good look at Jack Willoughby(transfer from Duke) and he missed a FG at what was crucial at the time because VaTech took the ball down the field and scored after it. He did make all six of his PAT’s but that was the best part of special teams play.

As horrible as kick-off and punt coverage was both ways, the one really shining player that prevented it from being a total disaster was Paris Campbell. I have a feeling he will be this season’s Ezekiel Elliott in kick coverage.
