My grandmother told me when I was young that women will take over the world someday. She lived a long life and was in the business side of the plastics industry. She for the most part worked in a man’s world at the time so she probably knew what she was talking about! This week I am featuring an all-female fans interact to shine the spotlight on the fact that they know what they are talking about when it comes to discussing the Buckeyes. Big thank you to Susan – @AsianPoshie90 Diana – @Diana_Sue Lindsay – @Buckeyelinds27 Hope – @stiefel5 and my middle child Kristiana – @kristianahunt for their thoughts!
The majority of Buckeye fans finally got what they wanted with JT Barrett getting the start. What are your thoughts on his performance and what, if anything, can be improved on?
@kristianahunt – J.T. Barrett did not disappoint with his performance. I think he knew that everyone was behind him and that gave him the confidence to perform so well. He knew what needed to change with our offense and he executed those changes. After last week’s performance, I don’t see anything drastic that needs to change.
@AsianPoshie90 – J.T. did just as we thought he would do. Leading the offensive line & giving the team extra confidence. I think J.T. will only get better with each start. He should have gotten the start from the beginning.
Game Day!!! #GoBucks #OhioState #beatrutgers #jtbarrett #zeke Now is the time! Let us shine!

@Diana_Sue – I personally thought J.T. was excellent. This offense is way more up tempo and seems to click better with J.T. on the field. I was very pleased with the adjustments from last week to this week with J.T. being named the starter. If tOSU continues to play like they did last night then there will be a repeat national championship.
@Buckeyelinds27 – J.T. came out like a leader; calm, cool, and collected. After his fumble, he went to his offense and took the blame and fist pumped them as if to show them “we got this”. He was so explosive when the play broke down and he started running, Michael Thomas and Jeff Greene weren’t expecting him to be there yet, this is an easy fix. He needs to continue being J.T. and his leadership will shape this team on a championship run. It is all about peaking at the right time and, Buckeye Nation, our playoff run starts now!!
@stiefel5 – There is no need for improvement. J.T. deserves a A+.
The Silver Bullets came within 13 seconds of a shutout of the Scarlet Knights. What were they doing differently this week they hadn’t been the past few weeks. Were you surprised they had so much success against a pretty good Rutgers offense?
@kristianahunt – I think the offense’s explosiveness affected our defense. Our team gained so much momentum and excitement from how great our offense was executing. Our defense also broke through people easier to make the necessary sacks and tackles. Effort in that area had seemed lackluster previously. I wouldn’t say I was surprised by their performance because I’ve always known they were capable of it. But I was very impressed.
@AsianPoshie90 – I was extremely surprised about how well our defensive did against Rutgers. I’m not sure what they did differently in this game. The team overall seemed to be confident going into this week.
@Diana_Sue – No, I wasn’t surprised. The Silver Bullets have been the most consistent part of the team this year. It was nice to be able to see the depth of the defense with the young bucks coming in and making some big plays.
@Buckeyelinds27 – The Silver Bullets started out slow, but they were feeling out the potentially potent Rutgers offense. Once they saw what was being called, they adjusted and settled in. Eli bit on a few passes and shoulder tackled, again, an easy fix once he sees the film. Conley became a man out there and was on fire, from an INT to a blocked punt. Raekwon McMillan had great pursuit on the QB, another underclassman playing tough!! Bosa did Bosa things, which always equates to success. It was great to see the passion from Hale and Hubbard in the 3rd quarter. I think JT at the helm not only brings a calmness to the offense, but the defense seems to respond as well and are playing inspired.
@stiefel5 – The offense and defense run so much smoother. A+ for defense and offense
Grade the teams overall performance and why you give them that grade.
@kristianahunt – I would give the team a B+, just because the defense did let them score at the end, and there is always room to perform better.
@AsianPoshie90 – B because they should have shut out Rutgers.
Never let the foot off the gas pedal…never….think Wisconsin game…lol
@Diana_Sue – Overall performance: A. Clean game with NO penalties. The offense was on fire.
@Buckeyelinds27 – I give the team an A-. We played well and still have a few areas to tweak, but this team played as a team and we got a lot of people involved on offense this week. If we can play 9 units strong, like Urban preaches, we’re a definite contender to repeat. As my BSU girls and I always say, #TrustUrban.
@stiefel5 – I gave an A+ for everything. Love being a Buckeye.
Give us your thoughts on what they have to do to win and a score prediction for Minnesota in two weeks.
@kristianahunt – To win against Minnesota, the offense needs to be explosive and execute. If we score in the red zone every time, we will win.
My score prediction is 42-0
@AsianPoshie90 – Buckeyes need to stay the course and know that every game is a battle for us. We are not consistent so its hard to predict what they’ll do on any given Saturday.
With that said, I predict the score to be OSU-42 Minnesota-14
@Diana_Sue – They need to continue to keep the running game going in order to set up the big passing plays that makes this offense so explosive. The defense and special teams need to keep doing what they have been doing all season. Defense wins games!
42-14 tOSU.
@Buckeyelinds27 – We need to continue to play as a team and the success will be ours. We are extremely talented on both sides of the ball and now that there is consistency at the QB position, the opportunity to repeat is there. I see our offense to continue to excel and our defense to keep playing tough.
I look for a 45-7 victory…GO BUCKS!!
@stiefel5 – To win again Minnesota. Keep doing what you do Buckeyes. Play hard.
