Tattoo parlors in Columbus?

BayBuck

Buckeyes are best
Can anyone recommend a good tattoo parlor here in Columbus, preferably closer to the downtown/campus area? (By good, I mean clean and safe but also quality artistry and reasonable prices.) I got one in Mexico about 9 years ago that's really faded now, and I want to put something Buckeye-themed over it, maybe 4"x4" at the most. Any idea how much something that size (probably 2-3 colors) would cost?

BodyStain up on CLeveland and Morse. Got my band done there, good work, far as I'm concerned.

Then there was ... I think it's called Tattoos by Kevin or something like that.. it was over on Broad street somewhere.. Got my first tat there.

(didn't see teh part about close to downtown or campus.... Personally, I'd avoid campus parlors... strikes me that they'd be more.... ummm... what would I say... like when you get your hair cut by someone who's in school to get their hair cutting license.... risky)

Oh, and on the cost issue... my band is 1 color - black - and cost 150 5 years ago. My other is 3 colors and about 4 X 4 like you're talking about and cost 90 about 10 years ago.

I got my first one at Tattoos by Marty out in that Broad area 10 years ago, and even then it felt a little scuzzy, but I agree about getting one too close to campus. Seems like there'd be someplace decent in the Short North area, though...
