What kind of private school education is her son going to get for $10,000? My brother in law is paying around $3,500 each (that's with a multi-kid discount) for three kids between kindergarden and 6th grade. He's going to be putting out around $8,000 for his oldest son when he starts high school in a couple years.

What's this lady going to do in 2-3 years when her "winning" are eaten up by tuition is she hasn't blown through it by then?

Not only that, I'm guessing her $10k is taxable income.
