It appears that Minnesota was 'showcasing' Szczerbiak this year by having him to over 40 minutes per game and outscoring Garnett. This Miami of Ohio guy had troubles with Garnett, the unquestioned heart of that team. don't know what they were, but even McHale wouldn't comment with the usual banal lip service that GM's make in these cases.
Wally's (easier than the last name) numbers were up, and his percentage of shots were always higher than most. Slow, white guy, undoubtedly, but not afraid to take the crucial jumper with the game on the line. Surprised by the trade, heard it on ESPiN on the box score, and thanks all for the information. Don't have as much time to google as would like, but you guys at BP help us keep informed. That's OK, now I can watch one of my favorite players with one of my favorite teams.
To draw somewhat of a nexus to OSU, anybody know why Wally wasn't recruited to OSU?
