Syracuse is the dumbest college basketball team in the country. Just pathetic basketball in the second half after being up by at least 15. One stupid decision after another and they allowed Cinci to go on a 23-9 run to take the lead with about a min left.

They just suck.

I agree. They have underachieved all year. They have so much talent, they have no idea what to do with it. Boeheim has had a bad year coaching. I think GMac is a bit overrated as well. He averages 3+ turnovers a game.

Well he is being forced to do everything for that team. He's not a point guard, he's a shooting guard. To force him to play the point means he's going to force things to get others scoring, and it takes away from him coming off screens for the 3. It's just a complete breakdown from there.

Every problem I see with the team is coaching. A Boeheim team doesn't usually have this many break downs. Turnovers, foul shooting, dropped passes, stupid decisions with the ball, stupid decisions without......It's all coaching.

i was never a huge jimmy b fan. id have to lie to you to make an honest assement of the team. but they dont have a roster to be anything specail. playing in a real conference is a bitch. ask uc. say whatever you want about huggins but if you play in a conference its a whole diff ball game. the one thing is with 16 teams its easier than 10 or 11 team conference that is solid.

BN27, if you haven't seen it, you'll want to check out Boeheim's presser. Defending a guy that some reporters have called overrated, he said "without Gerry McNamara, we would not have won 10 ****ping games this year".

He also stated that some assistant coaches that called McNamara overrated (not his own, I'm sure) will never be head coaches.
