I have a Lexus 330 rx, it's ok, it's nice for moving things and traveling. In high school I had a Pathfinder which I loved to take off-roading.... the Lexus I don't think can do the same.

My wife has one and I have one strictly as a winter vehicle. I love the room and comfort of them. Do I need a vehicle that big? Not really but I will never go back to strictly cars at my house, I will always own at least one SUV.

We bought the SUV because we needed more room for the family. With the huge car seats you need these days it really leaves no room in the back seat of even a mid sized family car. As for gas milage it's listed at 20-15 mpg but we've gotten as high as 25 on the highway, low of 17.

Like "The Man" said, we'll always have at least one from now on.

my wife drives one, Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, its very nice. As it was said before, the huge car seats today dont really fit well into some cars. She only drives 20 miles per day so the gas mileage isn't a big deal, but it only gets 16 city and 22 highway.

"You aren't fooling anyone. We know a station wagon when we see one. The only offroad action it will ever see is if the old lady backs over the flower bed."

Best Miller Lite Commercial EVAR.

We got a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the high output V8, the offroad capability was a big thing for me. Going camping in about 2 weeks and picking apples next weekend (I bottomed out our car last time I went to the orchard). I've missed being able to plow through a mud/snow and drive on grass since I got rid of my truck in 2001.

I never realized how big of an engine that the Trailblazer had in it till we test drove one. That thing can haul.

the TB is covered in mud right now. I took it this weekend and used it when we went riding quads, i made sure to go through plenty of mud holes and stuff, since my wife will never get it dirty.
