Still got an insightexpress.com add this morning. Unfortunately it's large enough on my laptop to be annoying.

Hopefully Monday. Pop-ups of any size are more than annoying.

I haven't seen any more (as of earlier Monday). Anyone else?

Looks like they might have just nuked Gatorade, which sucks a bit as I think that's our only premium campaign this month, but I just can't have the pop-ups with it. Seems like they should be able to remove the pop and keep the static ads.

Just got one with auto-play audio. First ad was for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon & then it moved on to Rayman Legends Official E3 Gameplay

Found it, squashed it (may take an hour or so for the change to take effect, but it doesn't look like it's being loaded very often) -- thanks for the detail!

The Gatorade ad campaign is being turned back on. We've been told the pop-up has been removed.

If you see any pops before or after a page load with a Gatorade ad (or any other time for that matter) please let me know asap.

If you don't, maybe click on the Gatorade ad.

Not sure where to post this but I just clicked on The Cleveland Indians thread, opened to page 80, and my virus agent shut down the window. Not sure exactly what the deal was just wanted you to know.

It appears to have been a false positive -- but it's always possible that there's a rogue bit of ad code out there that's carrying something unfortunate but rarely loads. That's not generally a problem with us because that sort of attack is more targeted to high traffic sites like cnn, yahoo, etc., but we did have a case of it a couple years ago. The vendors we work with have tools to prevent that, but something has to get into the system to get caught ... the point is I avoid speaking in absolutes about this stuff. On the web, anything is possible.

Did it give you any info when it did so? Not seeing anything that could cause that sort of problem, but sometimes certain ads can trigger reactions; even something as simple as an ad loading video content that won't load without a click will sometimes seem like a redirect waiting to happen to software being particularly careful.

I did go through a few days ago and delete links (two) to an external site that has been compromised with malware (I check Google regularly to see if any of our external links are going to unhappy places), but they were from 5 year old threads -- so that wouldn't be related.

--edit--
There are two images linked inline in that thread, I checked the host sites via Google safe site diagnostic and they seem to be clean. I went through our code, and all seems kosher. I also ran that page through vscan.urlvoid.com several times (to see if I could find any strange ad behavior) but it came back clean each time there as well. All seems to be well, but please let me know if you see similar behavior in the future.

I've gone through our ads from the various providers and all seems to be solid there as well.
