interesting tidbits in BSB

albert dukes was the most impressive receiver

youbouty has emerged as a real leader, staying late to help out some of the younger guys with technique etc.

frost has been real impressive

haw and schnitker were mentioned as participants but not pittman?

Ginn has apparently become uncoverable as well, which should be no surprise, but I guess he's become even better than before as his route running has sharpened.

The rumors about Ginn were not from this same bsb source... I heard them 4th hand. I'm pretty sure even an armchair QB could pass well with this group of receivers.

That should be expected. The primary reason he wasn't on the field early in the season was because he hadn't played WR for over 2 seasons and needed to learn routes. Combining that speed with better routes and Santonio and Gonzo should make for a lethal combination.

After covering our own WR's in practice, I would think our secondary could be almost great this year. Possibly the easiest day of the week sometimes this year will be on Saturday!
I agree and disagree with this. I think any other position should play against the VERY best, but DB's while you don't want them practicing chumps, im' not sure playing the VERY BEST is going to help them. I think it requires a swagger and confidence more then any other position, so it all depends on their attitudes because i'd imagine that with 7 on 7 rules and the WR's they are getting tore up, some people it won't affect..others it will.

I'd rather have the DBs' egos bruised in practice rather than during the game. If our DBs aren't smart enough to understand that facing the best will make them the best and to learn from practice mistakes, then I think we need new DBs. If they want swagger, they'll have to earn it.

Besides, DBs' egos aren't the only ones on the line...you don't think OL and DL have theirs toyed with while they're balsting each other in the trenches?
