I didn't see a thread so I thought I'd start one.
Sounds like we have a psycho on our hands. Before having the octuplets, this single mother (who lives with her mother and is unemployed) already had six kids. The octuplets give her a total of 14, all conceived through in vitro fertilization.
Her mother has described her as "baby crazy", and now she's collecting infants like other wack jobs collect Beanie Babies or Precious Moments dolls. She must have been one of those women who talk about how bad they want to get pregnant on the first date.
Apparently, she also plans on going to grad school (good luck with that, being broke and running a personal daycare) for PSYCHOLOGY (really?!)
Somebody on MSNBC TV this morning estimated that the initial hospital stay for these eight infants (born between 1lb. and 3lbs.) will cost 1-3 million dollars. Who's paying for this? Who was paying for her procedure? Her first six kids? The next eight?
I hope for the kids' sake that if they don't end up in foster care or something that the market for books and interviews and reality TV shows hasn't dried up so they at least stand a chance of being fed and clothed.
