suggestion: favorite smilies

I don't know how feasible this is, but I was thinking it would be nice and convenient for us lazy types if we could customize the smilies that are immediately accessible to the right (in the box) and top (dropdown menu) of the screen where you type a post. The box on the right has a standard set of smilies, but those really aren't the ones I like to use. It would be convenient if I could customize which smilies show up so I don't have to open the box of all the smilies to get to the ones I use more often.

I don't know if that made any sense. Hopefully it sorta did. :!

Not a bad idea, thomps, but if you find you use a particular smiley a lot, why not just memorize its :word:

this is definitely one of those extremely low priority requests, but I think it would be cool if we could fix the gallery uploading system so that the uploaded pictures would actually be jpegs. That would allow you to use some of your own smileys that you upload, and also to upload pictures to BP to use in your signature. Right now you can't upload a picture and then use it in your sig, b/c it turns into a hyperlink.
