A police report described the shooter only as a black male wearing a pink shirt.
Another wasted pick by the Browns?

"It's disturbing that someone can let off six shots in a packed club and can escape without being arrested," said Elliott Wilson, editor in chief of the rap magazine XXL.
Six shots and you only got him once in the leg?

Well, it would be easy to argue and say that 2pac was a revolutionary leader for the inner city community in the 90s, based solely on his music, and that many of his songs are brilliant, etc. Everyone has their own opinion, that's just how it is.

It's a shame all the bad rep that rap gets.

Everyone remembers that one verse in that one song that might have been offensive. But the great majority of people (Seems Mili is included) forget the amazing lyricists that exist out there.

Talib, Common, Erykah Badu, Mos Def... All geniuses, well respected rap artists rappin about love and peace.

This is ridiculous- these gangsta-thug idiots go around shooting each other over stupid shit, and the media jumps all over it like we're supposed to care.

I don't give a fuck. They can all just kill each other, for all I care.

cant call it said:
the n word.
I don't like that word at all...most people say it refers to an ignorant person regardless of color. However, we all know the historical connotation of that word...especially when spoken by a Causcasian. You are correct though, it is your right to use the word and there is nothing in board policy that prevents that. However, I do wish we would all use more discretion in choosing such words...

I've listened to older generations talking about some of the humiliation and abuse they endured in the 60's and the decades before the CRM. I look at this classroom full of young kids dying for a chance to succeed. To label them with such a derogatory name honestly burns my soul. There are good PEOPLE and there are bad PEOPLE...they are not separated by the color of their skin, but they are bonded by their moral choices.

Get the fuck outta here. No rap song ever written--none--is brilliant.
Maybe out of what songs you have heard on the radio or MTV, but I assure you there are some rap songs that are nothing short of brilliant. I'll admit there are not a ton of quality rap songs, but none the less there are some that are quality.

Its just a generational thing. My granparents still think hard rock sucks.
