Sugar Bowl

I thought last year, if West Va. would end up in a Bowl, we would see Jason Gwantley being the stud that wins them the game. Sucks to know the injury bug has gotten to him and (rumored) hes got an attitude problem.

Georgia wins this one big.

For once is WVU's bowl life, we have the speed to match a team like UGa. IF their players think anything like their fans and media does, then WVU will beat them. Im going to the game, it will be my first bowl trip, so hopefully it will be a good one. If we can get a few lucky bounces, we will win. The Freshmen Duo White/Slaton are going to be very special for this program. We only graduate 5 starters this year.

No way WVU has the same speed as UGA. The only team you guys played at the same speed level as UGA was Va Tech and you guys got beat by about 10 or so, and it was a rivalry @ home I believe, and Va Tech showed what happens to them when they get a team on the field with the same amount of speed as them(Miami, FSU).

Well. We have a completely different team than we had in the VT game. White didnt start, nor did Slaton. We turned the ball over twice inside the our own 30, which led to two easy VT scores. If you dont think we have speed, then you havent watched us play this year.

Slaton runs a 4.3 40. Thats fast, I dont care who youre playing.
White is a 4.4.

I hope the UGa defense has fun chasing these two.

Individual speed doesn't matter 99% of the time. It's about overall team speed, especially on defense, and I agree with CFB40.

I honestly think it might be close going into halftime, but usually faster teams just start to wear people out after that.

This is a great game to watch. I kind of expected this happening... the other way around. This West Virginia team looks unstoppable, and isn't Pat Whit a freshman?!?! These guys could be legit contenders; and playing in the Big East definitely makes the schedule much easier. They're making that automatic Big East BCS bid look really good right now. It's awesome watching these guys play with such passion, and just having a blast.
