Get burned on pop up throws twice, resulting in 10 points.

And yet Beamer continues to be held in high regard in the coaching fraternity.

I agree. VaTech was looking at getting the ball back around midfield with a 6-0 lead. At worse, they're probably winning 6-0 at the half. Instead, they're now losing 10-6. And that doesn't even mention Beamer's horrible decision to go for it inside UM's 10 yard line when he was a chip shot away from a 9-0 two score lead. Beamer looks like a bumbling fool in this game--his defense has thoroughly dominated this game and yet his team is down 4 at the half due to some really dumb coaching decisions.
