Sugar Bowl: #3 Ohio State 49, #2 Clemson 28, Jan 1 in New Orleans

I hope we are not reminded that we do not have Hafley this year. Stating I am concerned about our D probably doesn't need to be said.

Last year Day/Halfey out coached Dabo/Venebales. I hope it happens again this year, but I am less confident in Combs just to be honest. I hope he proves me wrong.

Sermon has given us a much needed boost at the RB position, and I hope Master is not the starter. I also hope Hilliard is on the field, and I would get Borland off.

I also hope Wilson/Day remember that we have this kid, #88 Ruckert, that is pretty good at catching the football.

And most importantly, I hope we get the good #1 Fields and the IU/NW one.

Their passing game versus our secondary is a concern. We’ll need our dline to step up in a big way to get consistent pressure or it feels like we’ll be picked apart. I’m hopeful Togiai and Garrett can really make their presence felt all night.

And on offense the “not scoring in the red zone” issue that was such a problem last year really reared it’s ugly head again against Northwestern, so that is concerning.

You have to hope the ground game domination in the second half gave an attitude and identity foundation for the team to build on, and obviously that Fields can pick his game up way over his performances he’s put in thus far against the two toughest opponents he’s faced.

It’ll be a tall task for sure... hopefully revenge factor can put the Buckeyes over the top and we can play an incredibly physical game and just grind them down.
