I was talking to my buddy (OSU fan) and his girlfriend (SCum fan) last night. They said they are having a party on September 10. This is how I remember the conversation going:

Him: We're having a party on Sept. 10.
Me: I'm sure there's an OSU game that day. (Wasn't sure which one, but figured it was Texas. I usually go to the games at least for tailgating even if I don't have a ticket)
Him: Oh we'll watch the game.
Her: It's September I'm sure there's a game. I think it's a game that doesn't matter. I think it's Texas or someone.
Me: (Jaw drops to the ground) OSU vs. Texas is the biggest OOC game this year maybe in all of CFB.
Her: It's not like it's a Big 10 game or anything so it isn't very important.
Me: (walk away baffled)

I just wish I had remembered that it was the Texas the beat SCum's ass in the Rose Bowl last year. OSU has to show Texas the the Big 10 isn't a push over conference the way they probably think it is after beating SCum last year. This just proves that SCum fans have no clue what is actually going on. I told my buddy when his girl first started spouting off about being a SCum fan that she was just a SCum poser because she really doesn't have a clue about anything that is important. Now we just have to bring her to the light.

Looks like Llloyd canceled the west coast beatdown game this year. I'll be routing for ND that day even though I hate them too.

I think exhawg is lucky not to be dinged for 2 reasons:

1 - Sept.10th should be burned into our brains as the date for the Texas game by now.

2 - Not recalling instantly that scUM just lost the Rose Bowl to Texas

Only 2 possible excuses come to mind:

1 - The girl is extremely hot (which I hope is true for his buddy's sake)

2 - exhawg was drunk at the time
