Stupid people amaze Me

I know these people exist, you know, the ones in this day and age are blatent racist, but it still amazes me when I run into one of them, and I usually just laugh because in teh end I get to see how stupid they really are.

So I work part time during the day at a major retail store to make a little extra money. Today and lady came in and asked one of the other workers for help in the Dora toys. They walk over and the lady says to here, I need a white Dora and Diego. The worker explains to them that they don't make white Doras, to which the lady says what you only carry black dolls. The worker them explains to her that Dora is not black she is hispanic. the lady asks that we call other stores to see if any of them have a white Dora. It is explained again that there is no such thing as a White Dora. She gets all made and says fine she will go to a different company to get the Dora she wants. It's is then explained to her a thrid time that Dora can not be found to be white she is hispanic and speaks spanish and teach diversity etc......The lady then says well that is one toy my kid won't be playing with and then stomps off.

Idiots I tell ya.....her and the people that come in everyday and want me to do an item search for PS3 and Wii....if they aren't on the shelf we dont have them

Diversity is very important....I wish they taught more of that when I was growing up....Hell my daughter is going to be 13 in May and she can speak 3 languages...

And inversely, tonight, my daughter's school put on a presentation about how other countries and cultures celebrate the coming of winter.

They had children in customary dress doing dances, singing songs, and reciting prepared speeches about Ramadan, Kwnazaa, Chanukah, Christmas and many other traditional celebrations. Many of the kids in her school are Indian, Pakistani, Japanese and Korean. Some of them are still learning English as they go.

My daughter's understanding of other cultures and her exposure to their customs and traditions have done wonders for her education and development.

Just thought I'd share a positive story to balance out 'fool's "stupid bitch story".

Well done! My daughter is 8 and is learning Xhosa and Afrikaans in addition to English. Three languages is the norm outside the USA and we need to pick it up if we are to compete in global trade. If I was in the US, my kid would be learning Chinese.
