Stupid parents altering kids' photos...

And what ad appears in the article? iQ's Flawless Face Combo..."smarter than botox" which shows a lady appearing 60 to in her 40's. A little ironic, don't you think? And we wonder why kid's have self esteem issues about appearance?

Now Tibs, how can you be critical? Seems you've used this technique yourself... :wink2:

First of all, some sort of retouching option has been available since I was a kid, and I am in my 30's. The only school pictures that even still exist in my family are junior high and high school. How about this, ASK the kids if they want it done or not. If your kids psyche is so fragile that retouching their school photos is going to cause them permanent damage, there are bigger problems there. Stupid agument.

If we are talking about doing things like removing a pimple that type of stuff, not a big deal, now if they are reshaping the whole person, then you might want to have a chat with the kid or parents about reality.

Absolutely. Hell, I had a couple zits when I had my senior photo taken for our high school yearbook and they airbrushed them out...and that photo was taken in 1974. Covering normal "flaws" is totally normal. Reshaping yourself into a totaly different person is not.

Pretty lame.. I have no problem covering up a couple zits, but some people take it way too far. I remember seeing a website of one of those sites the other day. Not only did they completely change the kid, they made the kid look fake. It was just weird.
