BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Officials ordered two sections full of students at Folsom Field cleared Friday when debris came flooding out of the stands during the fourth quarter of a game Colorado was losing badly to Nebraska.

With Colorado trailing 27-3, water bottles and other junk came flying from the student sections in the southeast corner of the stadium.
Play was halted for about five minutes while officials conferred. Before play resumed, the public address announcer said sections 116 and 117 would be cleared.

Security staff came to the sections to escort fans out of the stadium, although the process took a while and there were still fans remaining in the sections after play resumed.

CU sports information director Dave Plati said the sections are under video surveillance and fans who were seen throwing things onto the field could be subject to prosecution.

They tried that at scUM in the big house once, but there was so much garbage flying around that they couldn't see anyone's faces in the video...

The TV coverage guys did a wonderful job covering it up and not showing or talking about it much. I guess that's the best way to handle it, no press for the idiots. Back to the game, however, Colorado sucks. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that Iowa State has lost in OT to Kansas, I'm sure these loyal Colorado fans will travel to Houston to see their guys get drilled by Texas next week.
