St. Vincent - St. Mary Athlete Parris Campbell Jr. enters his Senior Year as not only one of Ohio's top rated prospects, but a highly rated National prospect as well.

Parris became the fourth member of the Buckeye's 2014 class, giving his verbal commitment on February 10th, 2013.

The BPRT was lucky enough to catch up with Parris for another installment of The Straight Six.

BPRT: When you think of Ohio State football, what comes to mind?
PC: Tradition, Family, Hardworking people, National Championships

BPRT: You have one more year in your high school career....what goals have you set personally for this upcoming season?
PC: To win another state championship with my team and rush for over 1500 yards.

BPRT: When your career is over, how would you like people to remember Parris Campbell Jr?
PC: As a person who never gave up and someone who worked hard to get what they want.

BPRT: If you were analyzing yourself on film, what would you list as your strengths & what needs some work?
PC: My strengths are my speed and vision. Some things I need to work on, since I'm going to be playing a lot more receiver this year, I would say route running and catching.

BPRT: Can you describe the feeling you had when you received the Ohio State offer? Who was there & what were some of the reactions?
PC: It was very overwhelming and exciting. My mom, my grandma, Coach Meyer and Coach Vrabel were there. Everyone was just really happy and my mom was crying.

BPRT: What are some of your favorite things to do away from football?
PC: I like to play video games, play basketball and run track. Hangout with family, my girlfriend and my friends.

The BPRT would like to thank Parris for taking the time for this interview and we wish him well in his upcoming season & beyond!!
