yes, that example was but the point remains the same.. it's ok for other races to make fun of whites but not ok for whites to make fun of other races.. case and point, mencia and chapelle.. if a white comedian did that he would be considered racist. I personally dont care, i think mencia and chappelle are funny as all hell because they point out everyones stereotypes but if a white man were to do the same, the reception wouldnt be as warm me thinks

Understand this, I think this firing is bullshit and agree we are too PC of a society but I just don't get the example that Mili set forth.

Brown calling someone a name based on their hair color is totally different in MY opinion.

Bradshaw has next to no hair. Besides, James Brown has black hair, and what if Bradshaw called him "The Black Bomber"? Major shitstorm.

Fired for those comments? He should have been fired for being an unfunny douchebag. That I would have agreed with.

I found it rather interesting that he was replaced by a Latino. Of course, Fox is based in L.A. and they want to pander to their base audience.

Maybe it's because "white" isn't a "racial" term. White is not a race. If you made fun of somebody's Italian or German heritage or even called somebody of German heritage a "Nazi", I'm pretty sure you'd get into trouble. Heck, Latios are of Spanish stock (albeit now mixed with American Indian populations).

If some of you read that article, you'd see that Lyons got into trouble for making comments about Shawn Green and the Jewish holiday. yeah, real double standard. Oh, that's right, you probably don't consider Jewish people white either.
