I gotta pull for our fellow CCL Desales Stallions. No offense to any Big Red fans, but Steubenville kind of reminds me of Michigan: they act like they are God's gift to football and have only won 1 state title. JMHO.

Say what u want about Steubenville, but DON'T EVER compare them to Michigan. EVER. We also don't act like we're God's gift to football either. A high school team with a long history with very few major D1 prospects and a coach who does more with non-major college recruits than anybody in the state of Ohio. Yeah we've only had 1 state title, but we're consistently trying to knock the door down almost every year.

My team(Columbus Beechcroft) was knocking the door down last year in Division 3(We moved to Division 2 this year). We went 9-1, played Brookhaven(Last year's Division 2 State Champion) to their closest game, ALL YEAR. We lost 15-2, and with a 9-1 record missed out of the playoffs by 1/2 of a point. While a 6-4 DeSales team made the playoffs last year(Just like this year). Brookhaven beat a team in the second or third round of the playoffs last year 38-0 and won the state championship 42-21. And we stayed home, played 'Haven to their best game all year and didn't get in.

There is many people in Columbus(and the state for a matter of fact) that believed that our 2004 team could've won the Division 3 State Championship that year, if we would've went.

Good lord man, please dont compare Steuby to scUM - that is awful. I give Big Red alot of credit for having a great team year in and year out being in an area that is basicall not well known for high school football in Ohio. They also have a pretty big time catholic school in the same town that they have to fight for players with.

Hell I am not even from Steubenville, and it's kinda known as a shitty town around this area, but I gotta support em just cause they are local.

Edit: Guess I shouldnt say shitty town, just mean that it's well known for alot of crime and such.
