Steelers at Patriots(-12.5)

I'm a Steelers fan, for what little I care about the NFL, and once I saw that guarantee earlier this week I knew they were done.

All the Steelers did was talk enough trash and play hard enough to give the Pats a reason to play hard.

The Pats have taken out both teams in the AFC that could even remotely challenge them and spanked the Cowboys in Dallas to leave no doubt.

Funny how the year of the upset in CFB is mirrored by the year of complete domination in the NFL.

Anthony Smith needs to learn to shut his mouth. When Steeler players open their mouths, the Steelers generally struggle. See: Joey Porter.

Smith has talent, but he is way too young and immature. He needs to sit behind Ryan Clark (When Clark returns from injury).

Polamalu being injured didn't help the Steelers.

Entering the red zone 4 times and not scoring a touchdown each time didn't help the Steelers either (Remember, their only touchdown was a 32 yard pass to Davenport).

I mean, Big Ben and Willie Parker didn't play terribly. They drove down the field. They ate clock. They just weren't able to score in the red zone. You can't do that in the NFL.

Two big plays, and boom, the Steelers lose.
