why doesn't Pittsburgh just go with Leftwich? Roethlisberger looks awful, and he has most of the year...let him rest a bit. The guy is never healthy. At least with Byron you'd have significantly FEWER sacks and a stronger arm.

ben gives the steelers the best option at QB plain and simple. I like leftwich and i'm happy that he is in pittsburgh, but he would take more sacks than ben, hands down.

I don't think anybody takes more sacks than Ben. I forget which game Byron replaced Ben in, but he came in, told the offensive line he was "going to hit his back foot and fire the football" and he said the offensive line "got excited".

There are a lot of QB's who would be successful in Pittsburgh's system. The organization just gets "it". But Ben seems to be having a very difficult year. The defense and run game are winning games though. Pitt will be a very difficult playoff team, that is for sure.
