Can't believe how close Hossa came to tying that game in the last seconds, but not quite. 
I enjoyed the Pens run and I'm excited about the young stars in the new arena that's on its way, but the best team in the NHL won the Cup this season. Great job by the Wings.

A few things since NBC cut away from the game and the end of the season so quickly....
The ratings were up across the board for the SCF and the playoffs in general.
The Wings won EVERY series on the road this time around.
The new Pittsburgh arena should be interesting to see. Hopefully it will have better environmental controls so the ice doesn't get so bad.
Maybe hopefully this will spur Detroit into building a new arena too. The Joe had similar issues.
Both teams are built for another run next year.
I think we would all agree that the reffing and some of the calls were absolutely horrendous. For Detroit it has to be the interpretation of goalie interference. For Pittsburgh I guess it has to be for a more consistent obstruction call.
