Stanley Cup Final - Blackhawks-Flyers

Weird ending. Kane shot from a low angle, and the puck slid under the far side of the netting and stuck there. Kane knew he scored, but no goal light and no signal from the refs. The Hawks jumped on the ice after a couple of seconds, but sonme of them weren't really sure they'd won until the review showed the goal clearly.

Nice year for Toews so far - Gold medal, Stanley cup as a team captain, and Conn Smythe at age 22 (second youngest to win it).

Kane post-game interview on the ice -

Q - "You be good at the parade, OK?
A - "Not a chance."

I think I was the only one in Chicago who had to work today. Quick background, I start work at 330am. I live a block from Wrigley Field. So, I went to bed after the 2nd period. At about 1015 all hell breaks loose in the neighborhood. I am awoken by fireworks, sirens, people yelling screaming, helicopters. Needless to say I did not get much sleep. Glad the Hawks got it done, wished it was on Friday so I could of enjoyed the scene. The pic below is from Clark Street, this particular spot is about 2 blocks from my house. Good times.
