If Oregon wins out and plays TCU/Boise State in the BCS Title Game, Stanford needs to win out to be in a Rose Bowl at-large beauty contest against the lower ranked of TCU/Boise St, if they both win out.

The Rose Bowl is not required to take TCU/Boise State if one of them is already in the BCS Title Game, but they have the option to take one and fulfill their once-in-4-year-non-AQ team.

What a play by their freshman RB at the end. Could have walked in for the TD with ~1:30 left, but took a seat in bounds and secured the win for the Cardinal. No reason to let the other team touch the ball. 2 kneels and the game ended.
