Something that I think would be a really cool thing about BP is if we could have occasional get togethers for big events -- bowl games, scUM game, etc. I know that a lot of guys live far from Columbus, so we won't get to see you too often here, but it would still be good for the board if people knew each other in person, even if it's once a year at a bowl game for some.

So on that note, who is interested in a spring game gathering? Since it's open seating, sitting as a group should be easy, and we could hit up a Tommy's Pizza for a post-game breakdown. Everyone can invite some hard-core Buckeye friends, and we can expand the BP family. :)

I think that would be a great idea Bobcat. I know I couldn't make it for too many games but I'd love to meet and have a few beers with you guys.

You guys all need to save up and come on over here for the Hula Bowl or Pro Bowl. We can all go to this microbrewery at the Aloha Tower Marketplace harbor called Gordon Biersch which has killer brews and great food. I've been able to meet buckeye68 and DaveyBoy who visited here (both great guys), and they'll both attest to GB's.

If I read a book I have a hard time making myself go see the movie because the characters are never the way I imagined them. I nave always been disappointed when I have seen photos of my favorite radio personalities.

I am not sure I would want to meet the BP crowd. My visions of manly ex-linebackers wearing tank tops and barbed-wire tattoos, spilling beer on their keyboards - replaced by wimps in khakis carrying game boys and wearing heaphone radios and one of those hats that says OSU has won 7 National Titles.

I prefer to log on and chat with the cast from the Dirty Dozen rather than Revenge of the Nerds - even if it is only in my mind.

I have been to the last 3 (last 2 with my little buddy) so I see no reason at all not to get with some "like minded peeps". Let me know when and where and we will be there. Although with the little buddy the beers are out of the question we are all about some pizza!!

Oh8ch I feel the exact same way. They were gonna do a picture thread around here and I am not sure that I would like it. I have visions of each poster in my head and there is no way they could live up to it. Wouldn't be anything but a disappointment to me. But after all that, I may be up for a Spring game with the BP crew.

Don't know if I have plans or not for the spring game (or should I say, I don't know if my wife has made plans for me :wink2: ) however if I'm going, I don't have a problem meeting a few folks...

Mili,

Would enjoy getting back to Hawaii at some point... in Columbus we also have Gordon Biersch... actually there is one next to Nationwide arena where the Blue Jackets play (except for the last five min. of each game :tongue2: )...

Exactly Hubbard. For example I have always seen you as a Burt Reynolds clone in a pink tank top and beret with black leather pants that look like they have been sprayed on. Grrrrrrrrrr!!

If you can live up to that I will thee you at the thpring game. :p
