Just letting everyone know that they're up on bucknuts....

Couple things stand out.

1) Holmes looks huge
2) Ginn does look decently bigger as does Dukes
3) Youboty on Ginn!! this can only make both better
4) whats with the knee cover on Zwick?

In my opinion this is a valid point. We must find someone to fill Fox's position, if Whitner can't get it done then I sincerely believe you will see Ginn at corner, at least part time and situational.

This is one of Haw's statements from the article on The O-Zone:

"I got the baby fat off. I weigh about the same, about 210, but I'm leaner. I got a little bit quicker," said Haw.

Quicker??? is that possible?

Did anyone else notice Zwick's back foot off the ground on his throw? Maybe he is beginning to break his habit? Or maybe it was just an abbiration caught on camera.

Let's hope he is changing... however its a lot easier to step into his throws in practice without pads than with a DE breathing down your throat.

Laying on the hyperbole a little thick there...

Most teams are lucky if they have one shut down corner! Even having just one shut down corner makes your defense much better over all! Theirs talk of Tyler Everret moving to corner. Everret wont's to go there. Whitner was unhappy with the move to corner,who could blame him? His style is better at safety. We just need a solid tackler at the other corner position.

Very true. Coach gave up any kind of coverage with Fox because he was a sure tackler. Worst cover guy I have ever seen, though.

If Whitner can do BOTH then I don't understand why he wouldn't use him there.

Fox did what he was told to do.

The linebacking corps has to one of the strongest units on the entire team. There is top-notch talent and there is plenty of depth. Here's how this unit looked on the team's first day of spring ball. His position coming out of H.S. was corner so I can't imagine him being too upset. Besides, next year, he could be right back at the SS spot...we just need to give our young CB's another year to develop.

where is it common knowledge that whitner is playing corner and everette SS? Whitner was listed first there in the spring roster, which means nothing. The latest story on BN says that whitner didnt exclusively play corner in high school, but he started there at osu until tucker and dantonio moved him to safety. the story would lead you to believe that whitner would move there if everette or one of the others do not work out.
