Union Station in the Short North is a choice spot for gameday, but it is a couple miles form campus
The Plugged Nickel downtown is pretty good too
Real answer though, tailgate
We only recommend those places to outsiders...
" Paninis is a good spot but they have gotten tougher on ID."
Unless it changes on gameday for some reason Paninis is 18 and up.
Not really a "sports bar", but we have gone to Donatos (pizza place) on High Street. They sell beer and have several TVs for the games/ESPN Gameday. Age is not a problem to get in either. Their basement used to be the old North Berg.
You DO realize that you could be indicted for Malicious Cruelty for mentioning Donatos on a message board frequented by people stuck in placed (like Tallahassee) where they can't get a pizza anywhere near that good? I should press charges. That's damn near dingable.

And paninis is where?? I cant remember for the life of me
Only about 150 RV's with big screens and DirecTv
I watched the end of the ND-USC game on a 36 inch plasma TV in the RV lot.
The clearest picture I've ever seen!
You could hit The Varsity Club or Wendell's Alumni Grille. Both are on Lane right across from St. John's and both let minors in. Good luck driving down Lane on gameday though (I suggest parking wherever and walk). Buckeye HOF Cafe is a nice place though as others have mentioned. Also Heinigate on the first floor of the Holiday Inn gets pretty crazy but it might be a little too crazy unless you're into hundreds of drunks screaming and fighting all the time. Good luck!
