A lot of the vitriol and hate against Deion is what’s drawing some kids to their program. The way he responds and the way his players defend him says a lot more than any media narrative to them.
Again, if you're signing up to play your college football because the head coach gets "hate" that he brings 1000000% on to himself, I don't want you on my favorite team. That's not sour grapes, that's just a stupid reason to choose where you're going to get developed to hopefully play in the NFL.

That’s your interpretation. Some people say he brings it on himself, but the people close to the program feel the opposite. That’s the point. If people in the media constantly tell you a person is one way and then you meet them and they aren’t like that at all, you’ll look at them differently.

Not unlike the way Buckeye fans felt about Urban Meyer until many got to see him first hand.
