Normally I?m not big at spamming national contests for Hollywood?s movie studios. They ask, but I usually just hit the delete button. The odds of winning aren't in your favor. This time though, I think the prize is big enough to make this particular giveaway worth telling all of you about. Speed Racer and MTV are giving away a car. Not just any car, a brand new Corvette convertible painted up to look like the Mach 5 and worth $100,000.

A sweet 100k prize almost makes it worth risking being put on some horrible telemarketer?s eternal spam list. I?m pretty sure that?s not going to happen here, which makes the whole thing even better.

I have no hope for this movie. I loved the cartoon but all of the trailers I have seen don't even use the classic intro to the cartoon? So that is strike one. Second is the visuals of the movie just look plain awful. Don't know what it is, but it just doesn't seem right. Can't put my finger on it, but it just looks so far removed from the cartoon that it just pisses me off.

Larry became Lana

man formerly known as Larry Wachowski has officially completed his full sex change. Now, I'm not sure whether he had an actual operation, or if he just underwent hormone treatments (I'll admit to not being an expert in this area), but Larry is now Lana Wachowski.

Are you fucking kidding me? I mean, I have no problem with it, but it seems so random.. I'm a big movie guy and I didn't hear about this. Where have I been?

Well, all hope I had in this movie was based on the fact that these two made the Matrix Trilogy and V for Vendetta. It has nothing to do with what I've seen from the movie itself. I agree with everything you say there. Looks like it might be good if you're using drugs.

By the way, I think I've edited this post six times.

My promised review -

My 5 year old grandson sat through all two hours - and he never finishes a movie.

My wife liked it also - but she is a fan of feature length cartoons.

As for adult males (not to give too much credit to the folks on this site) Christina Ricci doe not reprise her role from Black Snake Moan.

So, if you are five or female give it a go.
