I have almost brand new Bose speakers on my computer, they've worked great but now, no sound. I plugged in my headphones and they work but nothing comes out of the speakers. This may be a silly question but is it possible that the problem might be something other than my speakers? I'd hate to think that they only lasted a few months. And yes, everything is plugged in properly.

I'm not looking to get this moved to the poli- forum, but I'm thinking of a speaker that I wish really would stop producing sounds. :paranoid:

Does she hail from a certain west coast city near where all these computer thingies are developed? :paranoid:

No. I meant the speaker to my left of my monitor. I thought mentioning the word "left" might get me in trouble in this context. :paranoid:

Free speech. It's in the Constitution - if you had cerebral perspicacity beyond that of a short bus riding planaria and could understand it!:p

Disregard you're an idiot??? :p

Glad it was only a jack. I had my speaker output jack (or card or whatever) go bad and I have to run the speakers from the headphone jack now.

Sound cards are pretty cheap and easy to install if you ever want to fix it.

Elitist prick planaria! :tongue2: If you didn't have Ikea taste in furniture you would appreciate Mr Katt's sense of verbosity!

The jacks were all plugged in but the power chord had become loose.
