The title is not correct. The kid decided to be a rapper instead of going to college. An often solid choice.

Title edited to a more accurate description...

From linked article:

His first single “DatBull 4 Life,” was uploaded to YouTube in late April and has surpassed 50,000 views.

Harris said he made his decision to forego football about a week before the video debuted. He knew people would watch it, Harris said, but not that many in such a short time.

Really, DatBiyatch? 50k views in a month on fucking Youtube which has about 2 billion viewers, and you think that's good enough to turn down a free bachelor's degree from a solid university? Your first single should be entitled "DipShit 4 Life"...

This was news like 2 weeks ago. MSU actually yanked his scholarship due to the profanity laced, blunt blowing music video. So it seems the decision was made for him.

Harris' scholarship was yanked 3-4 weeks before the story was in the paper. What's funny, Philadelphia is about the 5th largest media market in the usa

you are assuming this kid could get through school. i am not willing to make that assumption after watching the video. sure i know it is just michigan state, but still not willing to go there.

do they have kin-easy-ology or swaheasy as majors there?

From what I hear (my brother graduated from the same HS 2 years ago), that his grades are poor. I doubt he would have finished his sophomore year, let alone graduate
