Sparty at tOSU, Sat. 11/11, 7:30pm, EST, NBC

My fav off-brand Hondas are the Ariel Atoms. It's been awhile since looking at them, but last i did they were using like 3 different Honda engines.
With the most common just being a K20 4banger.

IIRC their 2.0 BIG single turbo from SuperGT and SuperF is also available in a crate. They don't disclose what power is made in those races, but it's rumored ~650.

For reference, SuperF is faster than Indy, slower than F1.
SuperGT is now the fastest GT series. Was slower than the hybrid LMP1s, and on par with the non-hybrids.

Reminds me i need to catch up. I was supposed to catch the Finales at Suzuka and Motegi 2 weeks ago but employer cancelled my leave and i was so angry i didn't watch online.

Anyway, so Honda does alright ig.
Jenson Button in an NSX is alright.

How did this turn into an F1 thread?

Nah, F1 is boring and over rated imo
Not enough chaos. Tire wars + 2 classes of cars + a little recklessness = good entertainment. A lot of places exchanged on track, rather than in pit strategy.
Similar reasons i prefer NCAAF over NFL.

But to answer the question, because we're talking about how sneaky under rated McCord has been. There's times where he can be frustrating, but so far he balls out when he needs to. And i have a ton of respect for that.

Maybe because the field was real grass for most of Tressell‘s tenur.
Since this thread already went off the rails, what happened to the prescription grass that was so big at that time? Wasn’t tOSU and MSUs turf management programs some of the best? Didn’t the Shoe have a state of the art drainage system to keep the field at the right moisture level?

2006 was super freaking rainy, and they had to replace the grass twice, which makes sense since they lowered the field like 18 feet. I'm pretty sure it's lower than the Olentangy, and it's pretty hard to get water to drain when it's lower than the water table. So they gave up.

Doctor that prescribed it went to prison.

Purdue News: Advantages of prescription athletic turf

Prescription Athletic Turf provides the benefits of natural grass without the disadvantages of muddy or parched fields. The system substantially reduces maintenence, and, because the field is able to drain itself, the field can be perfectly level.

Athletes prefer grass fields over artificial turf because the natural turf is less likely to produce scrapes, bruises and "rug burns" and aggravate pre-existing knee or ankle injuries.

Never to be forgotten, finally, is the esthetic pleasure fans and athletes get from an event played on natural grass.

How prescription athletic turf works

The Prescription Athletic Turf system was developed at Purdue University by agronomy Professor Emeritus William H. Daniel in 1971 because of the need for a safe and consistent athletic playing surface. It uses an underground system of vacuums, moisture sensors and drain pipes to either drain excess water from the field or to backflow and send water to the grass roots. Under the turf is a twoply plastic sheet that seals off the field from the surrounding earth. The growing medium above the liner is largely sand, which aids in drainage.

The system was first installed at Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium in 1974. Since then it has been installed in such well known athletic venues as Chicago's Soldier Field, Denver's Mile High Stadium, Miami's orange Bowl and Joe Robbie Stadium, and Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium. In the Big Ten, Ohio State, Iowa and Michigan have joined Purdue in installing the Prescription Athletic Turf system.
