I guess the only thing I can take solace is we know alabama has coughed up a large lead before... granted the other teams D showed up and there semi-pro offense showed up

Sparty doesn't bother me. They hate scUM almost as much as we do.

Seeing TSUN getting thumped is making me chuckle, though.

Not really. Sparty had a very 'magical' season that did not include a game vs. tOSU while Bama is the best 3-loss team I've ever seen.

The true Tide decided to show up today and stay through more than a quarter...when that happens, nobody beats them imo.

"Magical" is another word for not having to play Ohio State. Northwestern has had a few magical seasons over the last 20 years.

The Tide's secondary was so young during the season and never really matured. I think the month they had to practice for this game did them a great deal of good. Saban's got it going and damn am I nervous about the Hog's game next year in Tuscaloosa.
